Well, it’s that time of the month again!
And no, I do not mean that time of the month. Each month, I love reading these surveys on other blogs and can’t help but join in on the fun!
Current Book: You Are a Badass
I’ve heard so many great things about this book and the message is something I’ve really been needing to hear, so I quickly purchased it on Amazon. I can’t wait to dig in!
Current Food: Lindsay’s Magic Green Sauce!
Guys, this stuff is no joke. It is so damn good, it is definitely going to be a staple for spicing up some seafood or chicken. It’s made with avocados, lime juice, pistachios, EVOO, cilantro, and parsley, and it is dreamy. I am obsessed.
Current Obsession: Duolingo
I originally found out about this app from Katie a while back but only downloaded it recently. It helps you learn a language, and it’s been helping me pick back up my French tremendously. I am actually addicted.
Also, can you believe you can add this to your LinkedIn profile?? Haha!
Current Bane of Existence: My damn wrist!
I got my cast off yesterday and still am in pain. Actually, more pain than before. I am so glad to have the cast off and be able to tie my hair in a pony tail with messing it up four times in a row and be able to shower without my hand in a bag, but the fact I am still in a huge amount of pain is super frustrating. Therapy starts next week, so keep your fingers crossed for me.
Current Non-Guilty Pleasure: Doing work and snuggling with Winston at the same time.
Current Drink: WATER. I am trying to drink it throughout the day to help with headaches and my allergies.
Current Laugh: This killed me!
Current Workout: I am happy to say I am visiting Flywheel more than usual.
Current Excitement: I am so beyond ready for the weekend!
Current Confession: I am kind of afraid to say this one out loud…..
I am not into smoothie bowls. At all. AAAH THERE. I SAID IT. Blog world, please don’t hate me!
I had really high hopes for smoothie bowls since I love smoothies. Smoothie bowls have taken the internet and Instagram world by storm and it was only a matter of time before I created one in my kitchen. I was just not into eating a freezing cold liquid with a spoon (I despise when a cold liquid touches my gums) and my smoothie melted way too fast. I definitely won’t completely knock it (I need someone to teach me their ways), but I won’t be making one in my kitchen any time soon.

March 16, 2016 at 5:25 PMThat meme about snapchats made me laugh haha. Current confession- I’ve never actually tried a smoothie bowl… haha. Everytime I want a smoothie I make it and then pour it in a glass and drink it. I don’t think I’m patient enough to find toppings and eat it slowly out of a bowl haha. Maybe if I go somewhere that you can order one, then I’d try it:)

March 16, 2016 at 5:35 PMI need to try that green sauce ASAP!
Sorry to hear your wrist is hurting you even more than before! How frustrating! 🙁
I’m not into smoothie bowls either – I’m not coordinated enough in the mornings to navigate spoon > mouth with liquid contents, hahaha.

March 16, 2016 at 11:26 PMI am a total outsider in the blog world when it comes to smoothie love… I can’t do them. I can, however, do a smoothie “bowl” on occasion – if it is thick enough – but this is only because I neeeeed something to crunch on when I eat. A plain smoothie will never satisfy me because there’s no chewing.
Sorry to hear about your lingering pain. Sure hope some physical therapy can help with that. Until then – more time in bed working and snuggling 🙂
