Happy Thursday, friends! This post was supposed to go live yesterday, but I had some things come up Tuesday and yesterday so it got away from me. BUT I am here now and I know you all were dyyyyying to know about my Tuesday and what I ate. 😉
4:40am– Wake up with my mind racing. I turn on the light and consider for 2 seconds getting up for the day and remember I’d hate myself at 11:00am for not sleeping in a little longer. Winston was so confused why we were up.
I scroll through snapchat/instagram/facebook/twitter (even pay a bill…WHO AM I?!) and fall back asleep.
6:15am– I am trying to wake up earlier on Tuesdays and Thursdays to help me stick to a better morning routine, but I end up pressing snooze until 7:00am. Oops.
7:10am– I finally get out of bed and get dressed. I make coffee and take out some chia pudding I made the night before. I top it with berries, cashew butter, and slivered almonds. This has been my go-to breakfast recently!
I only have time to take a few bites and a sip of coffee before I run Winston outside to go to the bathroom. Once that was done, I jump in the car and head to teach my cardio/strength class.
7:30am– Class begins! We do different exercise blocks for 90-60-30 seconds.
8:30am– Class ends and I head straight over to HSM core to take a class.
8:50am– Torture begins!
9:30am– Class ends and I chat with the instructors and other participants. It was a small group which was nice and they always attend the Tuesday class at 8:50am. I will definitely be back for more pain.
9:55am– Arrive home and take Winston for another walk. When we get back to my building, he did not want to go inside. Instead, he just sat out in front of our building so I just had to snap a couple photos of him.
10:15am– I finish up my chia pudding and reheat my coffee. I flip through my roommate’s copy of Food & Wine magazine.
10:30-11:15am– I take a shower, make my lunch, take out the trash, clean up around the kitchen, and read/comment on blogs. During this time, I felt like I was running around like a madwoman. This part of my day between my morning activities and when I have to leave for work ALWAYS flies by.
11:30-7:30am– I didn’t really take pictures at work. I had a salad + falafel + apple for lunch while I worked on some admin stuff. I had a couple of appointments in the afternoon and taught a 5:30pm Boot Camp class. After class, I worked with two new clients who are on my team for a strength training program. Busy day!
7:30am– Leave work and go to Total Wine to pick up some wine. My roommate got a promotion and our friend won a big deal at work so celebrations were in order!
8:00-10:00pm– At my friend’s to eat dinner and celebrate with friends. Winston also came along because he loves to play with my friend’s dog, Nattie. My roommate made chicken burgers, cilantro cream sauce, broccoli, and a kale salad. Soooo good!
10:05pm– Arrive home and immediately brush my teeth and get in bed. I turn on Netflix and end up going to sleep around 11:00pm.

October 21, 2016 at 12:49 AMIt was so fun to read a day in the life!! Your dog, Winston, is the absolute cutest. I can’t even handle it. My week has been nuts! I posted a recap as well– took my nursing boards and am waiting to hear back about that! This week I have ran a ton. I have been running on the treadmill so I can study, but after I took my exam I was able to get out and have a nice long run in the sunshine which felt amazing. I also did a couple insanity workouts as well!. My go-to breakfast is 1 slice Ezekiel bread with siggis yogurt on top and dried apples too! It’s yummmmmy.
Thanks for sharing!
