Good morning friends and happy Tuesday! I wanted to kick off this week with a new series all about new-to-me products I’ve bought to try or I’ve tried and loved. I absolutely love trying new products and love finding out about new ones through blogs and Instagram.
Here’s what I’ve purchased recently:
Hail Merry Caramel Sea Salt Bites
You guys. These are HEAVENLY. Each bite is small, so it’s perfect for an after-dinner treat. I tried the dark chocolate flavor, but these Hail Merry caramel sea salt ones are perfection.
My only “issue” with them is that there are minimal ingredients. How is that an “issue” you might ask? For the price of these little guys, you might as well grab the ingredients that most people have them on hand – and whip them up. But who am I kidding? These are freakin’ delicious.
I Heart Keenwah Chocolate Puffs
Quinoa and chocolate is one of the most decadent combinations and if you haven’t tried it, you need to get on it. The nuttiness of the quinoa with the dark chocolate and salt is a winning combination. I’ll pop a few in my mouth around 2-3pm when I usually itch for something a little sweet. I Heart Keenwah has so many other fun products I’m dying to try.
Lenny Boy Lavenderade Kombucha
Lenny Boy is a local brewery serving up craft beer and kombucha. Their new taproom is enormous and is always hosting events like Sip & Sweat, yoga, and live music. I really like their beer, but I do love their kombucha, especially the ginger, strawberry, and rose flavors. I snagged this one from the Healthy Home Market and I have yet to try it. But how can you beat lavender and lemon together?!
Hu Kitchen Almond Butter + Puffed Quinoa Dark Chocolate
Can you tell I’m really into quinoa & chocolate lately? Hu Kitchen hands down has some of the best chocolate I’ve ever tasted. I’ve been loving their cashew butter chocolate, but when I saw this one I just had to try it. I am proud of myself, though, because I haven’t finished it yet.
Pro tip for locals: Hu Kitchen chocolate is cheaper at Healthy Home Market. Get it there and not at Dean & Deluca!
RX Bars Kids
I’m not the biggest fan of RX Bars, but I LOVELOVELOVE the new mixed berry flavor. The regular RX bars are also too much for me and I can never finish one, so when I saw the kids ones in the berry flavor I just had to grab a box! The small size is the perfect amount of RX bar I want and a box is a dollar cheaper. If you can never finish an RX bar like me, these kids ones are perfect.
Vital Farms Alfresco Unsalted Butter
Vital Farms has the best eggs on the planet. It makes a world of the difference switching to better eggs, so when I saw they make a pasture-raised, grass-fed butter, I needed to try it. I haven’t yet, but I have a feeling it’s going to be oh so gooood.
Epic Bone Broth
Drinking bone broth is all the new rage. People claim it’s great for gut health, which I am all for. I recently did a free trial of Thrive Market and decided to pick up a small jar of it. I know some people consider drinking bone broth as a snack, but liquids don’t count as snacks to me so I don’t really know where to fit it into my daily eats.
Trader Joe’s Single Serving Matcha Powder
Another trendy beverage: MATCHA! Everywhere I look I see people drinking matcha over coffee. While coffee will always have my heart, I’m intrigued by matcha. I do love tea, especially green and black teas, so I’ve been wanting to play around with matcha for a while. All aboard the matcha bandwagon!
Your turn-
Have you tried any of these products? What are your thoughts?
Have you tried matcha? Does it live up to the hype?
Favorite kombucha flavor?
Do you tend to buy desserts/bites or do you make them? Recipes for homemade balls/bites are much appreciated! 🙂
Note: none of these brands sponsored this post nor was I compensated for mentioning them. These are products I genuinely wanted to try and purchased with my own money (the backdrop for the photos is from my kitchen ha!).

July 2, 2017 at 11:59 AMI recently got a matcha latte from Sunflour and it was good, but super different. I love Lenny Boy’s kombucha because it’s not too vinegary!
