Happy birthday, Oats & Rows!
Two years ago on this very day, I purchased my domain and launched Oats & Rows. Just a few days later, my very first post went live, which still happens to be my favorite smoothie of all time. The first year of blogging was eye-opening. I truly felt lost with everything I had to learn. I felt like I was sitting in an advanced foreign language class with absolutely no experience. On O&R’s first birthday, I wrote a lot about what I learned through this silly Kristen Wiig-inspired post.
The majority of everything I wrote about in my post about my first year of blogging still applies to the second year. I still freak out when I receive a comment from another human and not a spammer. I still struggle sticking to my content calendar and finishing up posts late at night when I am dozing off is never a good thing. I still don’t always remember to photograph my food for the blog. I could keep rambling on about what I still need to work on. That’s one of the reasons I love blogging. It’s my creative outlet and the learning process, even though can be challenging, is the fun part.
I really am thankful for this little space of mine and for all of you reading out there. It means so much to me!
I’ll end this post with a Kristen Wiig GIF, because why not?
Be sure to be on the lookout for details later this week about a GIVEAWAY!
