Hey hey! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I spent the majority of the weekend sleeping. No joke – I slept most of Saturday afternoon, followed by a brief Netflix binge (New Girl is the best pick me up), then back to sleep until 8am.
I worked out both mornings at MAD. Go me *confetti emjoi*
…and both workouts royally kicked my butt. It’s the best way to start the morning though.
I also went to a frenchie meet-up on Saturday…by accident. I decided to take Winston to the dog park after my morning workout, and as I was walking toward the park, I noticed a couple frenchies on the small dog side. I thought Huh, that’s funny and nothing else of it. Once we entered the park and in the span of 10 minutes, there were about 30 other frenchies. Apparently it was a meet-up and I had no idea! It was an amazing coincidence.
The weekend was beautiful, so even though I rested a whole lot, I’m glad to have gotten some time outside.
Since I haven’t posted in a while and don’t have any concrete content planned (yet) for this weekend, I figured I’d check in with you all to say hey and just ramble to get back into the blogging routine.
If you follow me on Instagram (@saralnova) you may have seen a picture of my most recent Vital Proteins order on my stories.
I recently found out that my vitamin B12 levels are extremely low. I’ve been researching new ways to try and get B12 into my diet (besides a vitamin supplement) and came across the beef liver supplements from Vital Proteins. I eat animal products everyday, and with my levels so low, a supplement was needed. Beef liver is super high in B12 so I am giving this a shot. Fingers crossed!
I recently sold some clothes at Plato’s Closet and that visit reinforced my love-hate relationship with the place. It’s great for quick cash but I get so frustrated when they don’t take some of my stuff but sell this kind of stuff:
I mean the shoe is in style, but the color and missing strap? Come onnnnn.
I’ve been on a major acai bowl kick recently. My favorite so far? Juice Bar.
I love Ricos because all of the fruit they put on top, but the Juice Bar acai bowls have so many toppings that just make it so delicious. Juice Bar is a lot closer to my house too, making it that much more dangerous.
It’s going to be a LONG week (load wise) but I have Friday off and heading to the mountains with my girl Lauren for Easter weekend! A getaway is just what the doctor order.
Your turn-
How was your weekend?
Have you ever sold clothes at Plato’s Closet?
Are you into the collagen craze?
What’s something you can’t get enough of (acai bowls for me!)

April 10, 2017 at 9:45 AMyou just reminded me that it’s been WAY too long since I’ve had an acais bowl! They are so darn good. I haven’t tried collagen, but I have some at home, so I’m planning on adding that in soon!

April 10, 2017 at 6:37 PMI MUST go to Juice Bar. I have a friend that raves about it and it’s just down the street from my office! I love collagen so much! I’ve been wanting to try out those beef liver capsules too!
