Happy Happy Friday! I hope you all have fun activities planned for this weekend! After work, Winston and I will be heading to Wilmington, NC. I only went to the beach once last summer, so a trip is definitely overdue!
Here are some things I’ve been loving recently:
I’ve Been Drinking Watermelon Pint Glass
Beyonce is my girl. Anything with a Beyonce-reference written on it- I am DOWN for it. I saw these at Urban Outfitters last week and just had to get one. My co-worker and I always joke about this lyric, so I got her some too!
Jo Malone Fragrance in Peony & Blush Suede
You guys. This perfume.
This might be my favorite scent of all time. I got a sample of it last week at Nordstrom (because I am too cheap to buy the bottle) and I walked around the mall just smelling it. It is a beautiful floral fragrance that is gentle and not overpowering at all. One day I will splurge on the bottle, but until then, Nordstrom samples: get at me.
They also have a candle in this scent that I would actually die for (I freakin’ love some candles) but again- I can’t justify the price (cough $65 cough).
Birdsong Brewery Jalapeño Ale in Cans
If you are from the Charlotte area, I am sure you have heard or had Birdsong’s Jalapeño beer. It is super popular, which I am not surprised because it is so good. It isn’t spicy but it has the heat and flavor of a jalapeño which I love. Until recently, they’ve only had the beer in growlers at Total Wine and on taps at local restaurants, but now they are in cans! Perfect for summer days at the pool!
Waccamaw Chardonnay
I used to really, really, reeeeally dislike Chardonnay…until this one! This one almost tastes like a Pinot Grigio to me. It is sweeter and not dry at all. This one is definitely worth trying!
My New Camera!

I recently got a Canon PowerShot SX410 IS and am really enjoying it so far! I’ve only played around with it here and there, but I am super excited to take some pictures at the beach this weekend. My camera from the good ol’ college days was put to rest a while back, and the replacement has been well overdue. I am looking forward to using it for O&R!
Smaller Statement Earrings
I am obsessed with these earrings. They are large enough to be “statement” earrings, but not too overwhelming and can be worn with a simpler/casual outfit. The J. Crew ones were a gift (thanks, Mom!) and the Bauble Bar ones were an impulse purchase from Nordstrom. I am a HUGE sucker for turquoise jewelry!
