Every Friday this month, I am sharing my favorite accounts to follow on Instagram. I am firm believer in a “healthy feed, healthy mind” and that you should only follow people who inspire you and lift you up – not make you feel like you need to change or that you are not good enough.
If you missed last Friday’s Wellness Series post, you can read all about my favorite ‘feel good’ Instagram accounts here.
The following ladies are my absolute favorite Instagrammers for fitness inspiration and workout. I love that they promote fitness for every body and creative, accessible workouts. Personally, I find their accounts make me more inspired to workout for myself and my health, not for an aesthetic reason. Also, as an instructor, they provide such great inspiration for creating classes!
Alexia, @alexia_clark
I think Alexia’s number of followers speaks for itself. Every time I watch one of her videos, I think to myself “how did she come up with that?!” Her moves are the most creative ones I’ve seen. If you’ve ever taken one of my boot camp classes, there is a strong chance you’ve seen one or two of Alexia’s moves.
Paige, @trainerpaige
I’ve been following Paige for a couple years now and was fortunate enough to work with her on my online fitness business. She is super knowledgeable, creative, and offers a couple super successful programs through her blog.
Carmen, @mytrainercarmen
Carmen is my go-to resource for strength workouts and cardio moves for my HIIT classes. She also has a ton of videos of HIIT moves you can do anywhere!
Kindal, @trainerkindal
I have been following Kindal for a couple years now and was fortunate enough to meet her at Blend in 2015. I frequent her blog and IG for exercise ideas, especially when it comes to kettlebells, pull-up training, and primal movements.
Rebecca, @pilates949
As a certified Pilates instructor and a TRX enthusiast, Rebecca blends two of my loves together for a killer workout. I mean, how creative is that?!
Jen, @burpees4bfast
I love a good burpee, so it’s a no brainer that when I came across Jen’s account a while back, following her was immediate. As I’ve followed Jen, I became more inspired by her with her workout videos and her approach to helping women not obsess over cardio and calorie-counting.
Lindsey, @nourishmovelove
Lindsey’s upbeat and happy personality is infectious! She is a great account to follow not only because of that, but because of her simple yet effective workout videos. She also provides modifications in some of her videos, so if you are a beginner she is a great one to follow.
Nicole, @nicoleperr
Nicole is probably one of the funniest people I follow. I’ve been reading her blog for a couple years now, and she is one of the first accounts I go to when I am in an exercise rut. Her blog and IG are loaded with a variety of workout videos using all types of equipment, including megaformer, gliders, dumbbells, kettle bells, medicine balls, etc.
Gina, @fitnessista
Gina’s account has a great blend of food, fitness, family, and lifestyle. I love everything about her IG, but her workouts are some of my favorites. My favorites of hers are her barre and strength workouts.
